Consultation and Surgery

Mr Beigi's private practice is based at NCC Healthcare (6-8 Exchange Street). He also practices in Spire Hospital, Norwich and Harley Street, London. Consultations can be carried out face to face or online if preferred.

Mr Beigi performs surgical procedures in NCC Healthcare (NCCH) and Spire Hospital Norwich. The theatres are CQC registered and supported by a skilled nursing team who have been handpicked by Mr Beigi for their ability to deliver first-class service.

Most daycare procedures are performed in NCCH and more complex procedures requiring general anaesthesia are performed at Spire Hospital Norwich.

Blepharoplasty & Face Lifts

Eyelid reduction (blepharoplasty) is a delicate operation to remove excess skin of the upper and lower eyelids to provide a more radiant and youthful appearance. A standard or extended procedure can be offered depending on the outcome required.

Standard and Extended Lower and Upper Eyelid

A blepharoplasty involves multi-layer adjustments, with incisions made within the natural lines of your eyelids and the excess skin removed. It can be coupled with sculpting to the eyebrow and fat pad to address asymmetry of the orbit. An extended procedure provides a longer-term result with the incision line taken out to the lateral line of the crow's feet, offering a more significant cosmetic improvement.

Eyelid Blepharoplasty with Mid-Face Lift

Standard and extended lower eyelid blepharoplasty involve multi-layer adjustments along with elevation of the cheek fat pad. This procedure offers mid-face rejuvenation as well as in-filling hollow, lower eyelids and removing excess skin tissue to address eyelid bags. As with the upper lid blepharoplasty, incisions are made within pre-existing natural lines of the eyes and face.

This is a 2 (lower eyelid) or 4 (upper and lower eyelid) blepharoplasty combined with a mid-face procedure in a single operation.

Face Lifts

Face Lift - Pre & Post Auricular Skin Excision

Over the last 10 years Mr Beigi has developed a range of face-lifts to address different areas of the mid and lower face. The variations address buccal lines and laxity of the jowl and the upper neck. An incision is made in front of and behind. the ear extending into the hair. The excess skin is removed and the remaining skin is then re-draped and sutured. The variations within this procedure affect the level of lift and this is discussed and decided on an individual basis.

Clinical Procedures

Ptosis

Ptosis is a condition that affects the eyelids, causing them to droop. There can be a number of causes for this dysfunction and once this has been determined, successful surgery can be performed.

Ectropion

Ectropion (eyelid turning out) and entropion (eyelid turning in) are medical conditions that cause laxity to the lids and can lead to more serious corneal issues.

Eyelid and Facial Lesions, including Skin Cancers

All skin lesions are removed either surgically or with laser. Where necessary, diagnosis is confirmed with histological results.

Mr Bijan Beigi is a Consultant Ophthalmic, Complex Oculoplastic, Reconstructive and Orbital Surgeon, who set up the Oculoplastic service in Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Trust. Since 2005 he has performed over 12,000 operations. As well as performing ophthalmic procedures such as strabismus (squint), DCR (blocked tear ducts) and correction of eyelid malpositions (ptosis, ectropion and entropion) Mr Beigi also carries out complex corrective surgery following mid-face cancers and trauma.

Mr Beigi has expanded his technical surgical skills to deliver eyelid, mid-face and lower-face lift, delivering excellent cosmetic results. He has a particular interest in corrective surgery following failed cosmetic procedures undertaken in other practices.
